One of my favorite stores is having a sale on one of my favorite brands! Zinc Details on Fillmore street is offering 15% off on classic Knoll furniture Friday, February 20 – Tuesday, March 3. I’ve had a “thing” for the Wassily chair since I was 10 years old, and last year two of them finally moved in with us.
This post has very little to do with interior design, but the topic is still very close to my heart; chocolate. This year for Valentines, instead of the usual box of chocolates, put together a medley of your (or your loved one’s) favorite chocolate bars and wrap it all up with a red silk ribbon.
Three blocks down Folsom Street from Lotta Coffey Design & Interiors, is the simple and calming office of the clothing brand, Everlane. Last week, I took a stroll with the camera around my neck, to take a closer look. A minimalist idea Everlane was started by Michael Preysman in 2011, in search of the perfect t-shirt.
For sale right now, by Eklund Stockholm New York, is an almost all white apartment on Odengatan in Stockholm. Wood and leather details, as well as plants, and brass accents, add warmth to an otherwise super simple and stark living space.
Most of the time, in most parts of my house, I practice what I preach, and keep things tidy and uncluttered. But when one of the laundry hampers fell apart a few weeks ago, I realized that the laundry room was sadly neglected and in need of attention.
A lot of us are still licking our wounds after the holiday splurge. But at the same time, we want to upgrade and start the new year fresh. Here is how can you eat that cake and have it too. Let it go There’s no better way to upgrade your space than to purge.
Here they are, the pink camelias, together with blue and yellow, and I can’t help but think “Spring!” It’s hard to believe the Christmas tree was still in the house only three weeks ago. Happy Friday, peoples! Photo: Charlotte Coffey
Since Pantone announced their colors of the year, Serenity and Rose Quartz, I’ve been discovering these colors all around the house. They seem perfect for spring, so my previous plan to turn everything black and white will have to wait for the summer
At the end of 2015, Pantone announced their colors of the year for 2016: Serenity and Rose Quartz. I’ve seen the pink trend coming over the past two years, and after all the grey interiors it seems like a lot of people are longing for some blue.
Upon returning to work after the holidays, I started the year off with a thorough cleaning at the office. I went through my files, threw out old samples, reorganized the shelves and even did a computer clean up by unsubscribing from email lists and erasing random things that had collected on the desktop.
When my husband and I got married, one of the most generous wedding gifts was a dozen crystal champagne glasses. But, all of a sudden, we were down to just two glasses! I wish I could blame it on wild friends and rock-star-level parties, but truth is, most of them broke while I was doing the dishes.
I know it’s kind of last minute. But Santa, I’ve been veeery good this year. Shell Chair by Hans J. Wegner with white leather. I want you! Amaryllis. My favorite holiday flower. Sudo earbuds. Comes with this clever little pouch to avoid tangles. Lyngby vase.
