Friday Flowers: Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder.

My seven year old son, Cal, came home the other day with a big grin on his face and this lovely bouquet of flowers in his hand. He had picked them on a school trip to the park, and he was very proud. We placed the blooms on a small table in our kitchen, so we all could see and enjoy them. And we did. Soon, we were all smiling. Even his dad, the landscape designer.

Of course, the flowers are Oxalis, one of the most fierce weeds here in the Bay Area. But have you ever seen such beautiful weeds? And knowing that they are weeds, do they become any less beautiful?

I find it oddly satisfying that a landscape designer in San Francisco, is enjoying a bouquet of weeds in his kitchen. Who’s your daddy?

I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before.
