In The Hood: Tartine Manufactory.

The wait is over! Tartine Manufactory opened its doors today, at the corner of Alabama Street and 18th Street. The interior is just as yummy as the pastries they serve:
extremely tall ceilings, huge windows, plenty of light wood, white details, and Japanese style paper pendants hung together in happy clusters.

The eatery, run by baker superieur, Chad Robertson, is located inside the Heath Ceramics building together with Blu Bottle Coffee. And with Coffee Bar and Charles Chocolates less than a block away, the neighborhood is now full of treats. Let’s see how much longer I can fit into my pants…
