Required Reading: Getting Cozy with Monocle

Last weekend I took the chance to snuggle up on the couch with a juicy apple and my new book, The Monocle Guide to Cosy Homes. This is the third book from Monocle following The Monocle Guide to Better Living and The Monocle Guide to Good Business.

It’s a book full of beautiful pictures of homes from all over the world, and raises the question: What is it that makes a house a home? The un-styled images provide great inspiration, and is a nice contrast to all the interior design magazines and books out there showing interiors that are so museum like it looks like nobody lives in them. The book also works as a practical guide to finding the architect or maker you’ve been looking for, and where to go shopping for your home.

Wait, isn’t that our Sacramento street?
