On a recent trip to Stockholm, Sweden, I spotted some early Holiday decorations, even though there were still a few days of November left. And as usual, the Swedes managed to make it interesting while keeping it simple.
My seven year old son, Cal, came home the other day with a big grin on his face and this lovely bouquet of flowers in his hand. He had picked them on a school trip to the park, and he was very proud. We placed the blooms on a small table in our kitchen, so we all could see and enjoy them.
Here they are, the pink camelias, together with blue and yellow, and I can’t help but think “Spring!” It’s hard to believe the Christmas tree was still in the house only three weeks ago. Happy Friday, peoples! Photo: Charlotte Coffey
This sunny Friday calls for a crisp and clean bouquet on the marble ledge. The ceramic trinket box is from Design House Stockholm and the marble bowl/cup I brought home from Greece when I was in my early twenties. Wishing you all a great weekend, hoping that this early summer weather will stay until Monday! Photo: Charlotte Coffey
